RE-DESIGNING EACH ALBUM FROM LE COMTE - JOE VIGLIONE - INSIDE THE MAC
THIS is an essay on my approach, at sixty-two years of age, to re-working and marketing the music created since I was a teenager playing with a reel-to-reel after putting away the chemistry set.

The Chemistry Set that makes sound.
by Joe Viglione
As a kid I got a chemistry set - and mixing potions that one does not understand can be fun; exploring results that occur by putting that substance with this.
Definition of chemistry set
: a set of equipment that a child can use to learn about chemistry by doing simple experiments

Then - as we get a year or two older - our ideas and what we are attracted to in life can change slightly - or largely. Experimenting with sounds, vibrations, good Beach Boys vibrations, "bad" Black Sabbath vibrations, and combining the two.
Leaving "Strawberry Fields Forever" and "Penny Lane" off of Sgt. Peppers Lonely Heart Club Band off of the album is like leaving the Gospel of St. John out of the Bible. If the Beatles combination of sounds from Rubber Soul, Revolver to the White Album did for rock and roll bands what Chuck Berry did for the medium itself, why has music in 2017 hit a wall? There is little sound experimentation - perhaps The Doors An American Prayer where they HAD TO reunite to put some music to Morrison's words
WIKIPEDIA - 9th and final Doors studio album -
Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger, and John Densmore reunited and recorded backing tracks over Morrison's poetry (originally recorded in 1969 and 1970). Other pieces of music and spoken word recorded by the Doors and Morrison were also used in the audio collage, such as dialogue from Morrison's film HWY: An American Pastoral and snippets from jam sessions.
But Rubber Soul and Revolver by The Beatles were textbooks for the future by a band still together, and still exploring the possibilities https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7UjvdZm-Tu8 Tomorrow Never Knows Final track on 1966' REVOLVER
NOTES
WIKIPEDIA
"Strawberry Fields Forever" is a song by the English rock band the Beatles. The song was written by John Lennon and credited to the Lennon–McCartney songwriting partnership. It was inspired by Lennon's memories of playing in the garden of Strawberry Field, a Salvation Army children's home near where he grew up in Liverpool.[4]
The song was the first track recorded during the sessions for the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1967),[5] and was intended for inclusion on the album. Instead, with the group under record-company pressure to release a single, it was issued in February 1967 as a double A-side with "Penny Lane". Lennon considered the song his greatest accomplishment.[6] The track incorporates reverse-recorded instrumentation and tape loops,
